One evening Mike came over so that I could help him paper tune his bow. While here he ate supper with us and went back outside before I did. He came back in saying there were doves on our powerline. I retrieved my 20 guage and went to shoot them but didn't want too off of the power line. Finally, they flew into my ditch. I had Devon turn Hunter loose and when he finally heeled I shot one of the doves (it wasn't on the ground anymore). Hunter jumped because he had not seen the birds. I sent him after the bird which he had to find by sent only. When he realized it was a real bird, he was ready for more. He didn't want to turn loose of it.
